3 Seriously Injured In I-495 Crash
State Police credited some good Samaritans for pulling over and extinguishing the fire after two of the victims got stuck in the vehicle.

MIDDLEBORO, MA — One man and two teens from Rhode Island suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle rollover that resulted in the closure of I-495 South Thursday morning.
Massachusetts State Police said a 2003 Ford F-350 was being driven by a 26-year-old Providence man when he lost control, causing it to roll over and crash into a tree. The driver and a 17-year-old passenger were trapped in the car as it caught fire.
Police said three 'good Samaritans' pulled over, extinguished the fire, and tended to the victims until Middleboro and Wareham Fire Departments responded and extricated the two.
