Lawrence and Morse Pond Schools Host Open Houses

Several Falmouth schools will be hosting open houses for students this week, giving kids the chance to tour the buildings prior to the September 4 start of the 2012-13 school year.

will welcome this year's crop of seventh and eighth graders to an open house this Thursday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. until noon. Kids can pick up their schedules for the coming year, and take a walk around the school. Please enter through the gym.

Later the same day, will be open to new students, from 1 to 2 p.m. Current Morse Pond students will be on hand to show their new schoolmates around the building.

And for those who can't make the Thursday open house, Morse Pond hosts another on Friday the 24th, between 9 and 11 a.m.
