Lights Out Again On The Cape, After Powerful Windstorm
More than 2,000 Falmouth residents were in the dark Tuesday morning, according to Eversource reports.

FALMOUTH, MA — Police early Tuesday said portions of Davis Straits and Spring Bars roads would be closed to all traffic, due to multiple telephone poles and wires blocking the streets.
The local electricity provider, Eversource, was on site but did not have an estimate of when the roads would be clear.
The downing of local lines follows a heavy windstorm that walloped the Cape with gusts as high as 50 mph in Dennis. At mid-morning on Tuesday, Eversource reported that 2,400 of its customers in Falmouth were without power, about 9% of the total.
