MA Dad Using Lottery Winnings To Send Kids To School

EAST WAREHAM, MA — An East Wareham man plans to use his lottery winnings to pay his kids' tuition. Daniel Bourgeois recently won the Massachusetts State Lottery's "The Fastest Road to $1 Million" instant ticket game. He elected to receive a one-time payment of $650,000.

Bourgeois told lottery officials the money will go toward his children's schooling. He bought his winning ticket at New England Farms in Middleborough while on his way home from work Tuesday, July 30. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of the ticket.

There are 65 additional $1 million prizes remaining in "The Fastest Road to $1 Million" $30 instant game.
