Man Brandishes BB Gun At Cape Cod Mexican Restaurant, Faces Charges
Police said a 36-year-old man will face an assault with a dangerous weapon charge after pulling a BB gun during an argument.
FALMOUTH, MA — A 36-year-old man faces charges after pulling a BB gun during an argument at a Cape Cod Mexican restaurant.
At 12:36 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to the Anejo Mexican Bistro for a report of a past disturbance where a man reportedly brandished a handgun during an argument with another patron, police said.
The investigation led to a 36-year-old Falmouth man, who is being charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

However, the handgun he pulled during the argument turned out to be a BB gun, police determined after it was seized.
Even though a BB pistol was involved, the criminal charge is the same as if a real handgun was brandished, police said.
