Man Hit By SUV In Falmouth

FALMOUTH, MA — A man suffered serious injuries Saturday after an SUV struck him while he was crossing the street, according to Falmouth police.

The crash happened around 8:48 p.m. in front of the Teaticket Cumberland Farms on Teaticket Highway. Police said they found a man on the ground suffering from severe head and body trauma.

Police said emergency officials provided first aid on the scene before airlifting the man to a Boston hospital.

The driver remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.

Police said the man was struck by the SUV when he was crossing the street. The man was not in a crosswalk, according to police.
