Man Sold Contaminated Shellfish To Falmouth Retailer: Police
He was arrested after allegedly harvesting and mislabeling over 1,000 pieces of contaminated shellfish.

FALMOUTH, MA – A Mashpee man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly harvested and sold contaminated shellfish to a Falmouth wholesaler. Environmental authorities said they saw Carlton Hendricks III digging up, mislabeling and selling 1,366 pieces of contaminated shellfish.
He was arrested and charged with shellfishing in a contaminated area, shellfish improperly tagged, incorrect shellfish labeling and permit not in possession.
The shellfish were seized and destroyed, officials said.
