Martha's Vineyard Bank Looking To Open Falmouth Location

Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank wants to open a third Falmouth location on Main Street.

FALMOUTH, MA — Martha's Vineyard Savings Bank announced its working with Falmouth town officials to open a location on Main Street. A sign at 84 Main St. says, "Martha's Vineyard Bank coming soon," but more discussions with the Planning Department and Historical Commission need to happen before the bank's management knows if and when it will open, the Falmouth Enterprise reported.

"We’re in the process of working with the town and figuring out what can be done in that location, which is in a historic district ..." bank vice president Christine Conrad told the Falmouth Enterprise. "We're super-committed to Falmouth, and we’re really excited with everything we’ve seen so far at our other Falmouth locations."

The bank already has two Falmouth locations at 397 Palmer Avenue and 2 Water St.
