Mashpee Commons Assault Under Investigation, Police Seek Assistance
Police are looking to speak with witnesses of the potential Saturday afternoon assault that took place at Mashpee Commons.
MASHPEE, MA — Police have put out a call for public assistance as they continue to investigate a potential assault at Mashpee Commons from over the weekend.
"The Mashpee Police Department is looking to speak with any potential witnesses to an assault and battery that occurred at the Mashpee Commons on Saturday, November 02, 2024, at approximately 3:05 [p.m.]," officials said.
"This incident occurred in the middle of the Mashpee Commons parking lot that is located west of Steeple Street and just south of Falmouth Road."

Investigators said they were told that others in the area tried to assist the victim, or may have witnessed the event, but left the area before police spoke with them.
