MassDOT Work To Impact Falmouth Traffic Through Tuesday

Here's where there will be traffic restrictions to start the week.

FALMOUTH, MA — Asphalt pavement repairs and improvements conducted by MassDOT began in Falmouth Monday. Work is taking place at 779 Rt. 28, the off-ramp area from Rt. 28 North to Brick Kiln Road, the on-ramp from Rt. 151 East to Rt. 28 South and the Rt. 151/Rt. 28A intersection to the crosswalk at Bucatino's Restaurant on the eastbound side.

Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. No work will start before 9 a.m. at the Brick Kiln Road location.

Lane restrictions will be in place. Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes if possible.

The town will also continue water main replacement on Teaticket Highway from May 13-17. Traffic will be limited to one lane. Drivers should expect delays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. and seek alternate routes when possible.
