MBL's Summer Classes for Kids

MBL's "Coastal Explorers" science classes for kids will continue this summer.

The (MBL) invites children ages 4, 5, and 6 to join this year's “Coastal Explorers” aquatic adventure class.

This summer, MBL will offer a total of seven two-day class sessions. Each class is led by experienced Montessori educators and is separated into two types. The “Sea Urchins” sessions will focus on native invertebrates and the “Bluefish” session will focus on native vertebrates to Woods Hole. There will also be one final combination session that integrates both session types in August.

Each session includes a visit to the MBL’s Marine Resource Center or the Woods Hole Science Aquarium, as well as a variety of hands-on marine activities, including art projects and musical activities.
