Missing Mashpee Girl Could Be In Danger After Reported Fight At School

Police in Mashpee are still searching for the teenager, who was last seen on Sunday.

MASHPEE, MA — A Cape Cod community has come together in an effort to find a missing teenager who police say could be in danger.

Aliyah Konton, 15, was last seen on Sunday in the Cape Drive area of Mashpee, police said. Since her disappearance, a digital sign outside of Mashpee Middle-High School has been updated to show her photo.

According to reports, Konton was reported missing after a fight at the school. Those reports confirmed that police are investigating an assault and battery involving two students.

Video of that fight circulated on social media in the days after it happened.

A school resource officer is aware of the investigation, which involves the district office and Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office.
