More Than A Dozen Sharks Spotted On Cape Cod Over The Weekend

At least 16 sharks were spotted on Cape Cod and Nantucket over the past weekend.

CAPE COD, MA — At least 16 sharks were spotted in the waters off Cape Cod and Nantucket over the weekend, according to the Shartivity app.

The most recent known shark detected is named "Dylan", who was spotted off Nauset beach around 12:30 p.m. on Monday. Others spotted on Monday include "Terp" at 8:25 a.m., and Mr. Spot Claw, who was seen at 6:23 a.m.

Another, named "Warren", was spotted north off Marconi Beach at 12:42 p.m. on Monday.

South of Nauset Beach was "Luke", who was spotted at 2:09 p.m. on Monday.

A shark named "Heath Ledger" was spotted at 6:50 p.m. on Sunday in the waters off Newcomb Hollow Beach.

On Nantucket, there was one shark sighting on Sunday at 11 a.m.
