Motorcyclist Charged In Falmouth Hit-And-Run That Injured 2
A Falmouth man was arraigned this week on charges stemming from the recent hit-and-run crash that injured two people.
FALMOUTH, MA — A Falmouth man was arraigned after turning himself in after a hit-and-run crash on Cape Cod that injured two people.
David Eldredge Jr., 33, of Falmouth, is charged with leaving the scene of personal injury, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, operating that vehicle with a suspended licenses, speeding and other violations.
He is held on $5,000 bail after an arraignment hearing this week in Falmouth District Court.

This comes after a husband and wife were taken to a hospital on Aug. 14 after they were struck by a motorcycle while crossing the street in Falmouth.
Police were called to the area near Estia restaurant on Main Street just after 8:45 p.m. on Monday. Officials said the couple were hit by the motorcycle while they were crossing the street within the marked crosswalk.

Officials said the motorcyclist was able to get his motorcycle off the road before he fled into a wooded area behind Falmouth Town Hall.
