Nature Drawings of Julie Child and Her Students will be Displayed
Woods Hole Woman's Club will Honor local Nature Artist

Julie Swope Child will be honored by the Woods Hole Woman’s Club on November 12. The reception will feature a display of drawings by her and her students and include comments by students who have studied drawing with her. After earning degrees in biology and medical illustration, Mrs. Child began teaching biological illustration at the Children’s School of Science more than 50 years ago. Upon retiring to Woods Hole in 1994 she responded to requests for adult classes and was soon teaching classes four mornings a week. The public is invited to join club members for this event at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 12th at The Church of the Messiah Parish and Community Center, 16 Church Street in Woods Hole. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
