The Mashpee Commons Village Green will host the new beer garden, which opens early enough this Friday for you to call out for the afternoon.
MASHPEE, MA — A local Cape Cod brewery is set to open a new beer garden just in time for the dog days of summer.
Naukabout Brewing Company will open an outdoor beer garden and family-friendly entertainment space on Friday at noon on the Mashpee Commons Village Green, located at 4 Job’s Fishing Rd. across the street from the Mashpee Public Library.
It is set to be open starting on Friday through the late fall.

The Mashpee Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony at The Garden Party at 5 p.m. on opening day. For a bit of opening day bonus programming, the beer garden also serves as an ideal location to watch the annual Town of Mashpee fireworks display at dusk on Friday.
In addition to offering Naukabout craft beers, hard seltzers and homemade non-alcoholic root beer, food items will be available from local restaurants and mobile vendors.

The Garden Party will also feature live programming including music, games, arts, crafts and children’s events, and complement Mashpee Commons movie nights and live music at the bandstand.
"We look forward to bringing the outdoor beer garden entertainment concept, which has become popular throughout New England and elsewhere, to Mashpee Commons," said Brook Conley, founder, Naukabout Brewing Company.
"Naukabout Garden Party will be a perfect complement to the many entertainment options and special events offered by Mashpee Commons throughout the year. There will be something for everyone at The Garden Party."
The Garden Party will be open daily from noon to 10 p.m., with some exceptions to accommodate other events in the vicinity, officials said.
"Mashpee Commons is proud to partner with local brewery Naukabout to transform the Village Green into a place to relax, unwind and have fun with friends, family – and even pets – outdoors on Cape Cod," said Krysten Kelliher, Marketing Director for Mashpee Commons.
"The Garden Party at Mashpee Commons will certainly be a popular entertainment destination on Cape Cod during the upcoming summer and fall seasons."
