Open Burning Permits Available In Falmouth

Open burning season begins on Jan. 15, and the fire department announced that residential and agricultural permits are available.

FALMOUTH, MA — Open burning season begins in Falmouth next week, and permits are needed for those who plan to do so.

The Falmouth Fire/Rescue Department announced on Thursday that permits are available for both residential and agricultural burning. Residential permits are free, while agricultural burning permits cost $50.

Permits are also available in the Fire Prevention Office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday, officials said.
