A recent newcomer to our shelter is four-year-old Mica, a handsome gray and brown tabby with striking eyes. Mica and two other cats were brought to us after their owner died.
Mica has recently been introduced into a cat suite and is still somewhat shy, but he wants to be friendly. He comes right up to us for petting now but hesitates at the last moment and retreats, before coming back and finally letting us stroke him. When he is relaxed and not wary of the other cats in the suite, Mica rolls on his side to enjoy attention and purrs up a storm.
Mica can be with other cats in a household and would be fine with older children. He has a lovely personality and needs only the stability of a loving family to rebuild his trust and confidence.
