Most photographers capture images of people as part of their artistic craft. Photographing vulnerable people adds complexity to the mix. What about photographing those near the end of life or coping with a natural disaster? Upper Cape Camera Club member David Rider will discuss the work of several noted photographers in this area.

David will then show images from his recent five-week assignment for the National Episcopal Church to document feeding ministries, respite for the homeless, and borderland migration safehouses. A discussion of ethical and artistic dilemmas is welcome.

The Upper Cape Camera Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from September through June, either at the Falmouth Art Center or via Zoom. Guests are welcome to attend all meetings at the Art Center. For more information about the Club, please visit www.uccameraclub.com.
