BOURNE, MA — The Sagamore Bridge will be operating as a two-lane bridge for much of Wednesday as pavement repairs are completed.

Maintenance work will be performed on the Sagamore Bridge on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced.

During this time, travel lanes on the Sagamore Bridge will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction.

No wide loads will be permitted to cross the bridge while the lane restrictions are in place, officials said.
