Restitution Hearing Set For Woman Who Embezzled Falmouth Company
Amy Griffin, of Marston Mills, admitted to embezzling more than $773,000 from Safe Harbor Marina at Fiddlers Cove in North Falmouth.

FALMOUTH, MA — A Marstons Mills woman who admitted to embezzling more than $773,000 from a Falmouth business she uses to work as, will soon face a restitution hearing.
Amy Griffin, 45, in 2018 was charged with two counts of larceny of more than $1,200 by a single scheme, uttering a false check and forgery of a banknote.
Griffin embezzled $773,487 from her former employer, Safe Harbor Marina at Fiddlers Cove in North Falmouth. According to court documents, Griffin embezzled the money by issuing herself credit card refunds from Safe Harbor Marina. In February 2021, she pleaded guilty to the two larceny charges, but the other two charges were dismissed. Griffin's attorney Peter Loyd told the Cape Cod Times her restitution hearing was scheduled for October.
