Road Work Means Delays and Detours In Falmouth This Week

Residents and local traffic will continue to have access while road work is underway.

FALMOUTH, MA — Drivers should expect delays and detours along Sandwich Road this week as the town completes paving work after a recent water main installation.

Contractors will be milling and overlaying new asphalt on the road, between Brick Kiln Road and Teaticket Highway, according to a public notice. The work is scheduled from Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

During those hours, through traffic will be limited in the work zone, though residents and local traffic will be able to access the area from both Brick Kiln Road and Teaticket Highway (Route 28).
