Submission Deadline for Summer Juried Show Coming Up

Falmouth Art Center’s most popular show of the year, the Summer Open Juried Exhibit is accepting entries now.

Submissions must be made online through the Smarter Entry website—the link is on the Falmouth Art Center website.

The deadline is just two-and-a-half weeks away, on Monday, May 2 at midnight.

The show is on display in person at Falmouth Art Center July 1 to August 1, 2022, the height of the summer season. There is no theme.

The juror is acclaimed watercolorist Irena Roman, an award-winning artist and professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston.

Awards are $200 for Best of Show and four $100 juror awards.

All mediums are welcome except photography because the Art Center’s juried photography show is in May.

Both members of Falmouth Art Center and non-members are welcome to submit. The submission fee for members is $15 for the first artwork and $10 for each additional submission. The fee for non-members is $20 for the first artwork and $15 for each additional submission.

Falmouth Art Center members also get a higher commission if a work is sold, 70% of the sale price, instead of 50% for non-members.
