Thousands Vote Early In Falmouth State Primary Election
Over 5,700 had voted early as of Friday, easily clearing state primary voter turnout from 2018.
FALMOUTH, MA — Almost 6,800 ballots have already been cast in the state primary in Falmouth as of Friday morning, according to Town Clerk Michael Palmer.
All voters were eligible to vote by mail in the 2020 state primary, and in-person early voting lasted seven days, ending Friday.
With 6,789 ballots received, Falmouth voter turnout had already exceeded the 2018 election and is certain to surpass the 2016 turnout after Tuesday. In 2018, 6,238 votes were cast, while in 2016, 6,872 residents voted.

The marquee race this year is between incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Ed Markey and U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy III.
