Train Strike Kills Cape Cod 18-Year-Old
The Bourne man was found dead after he was struck by a train on Monday. His identity has not been released.
BOURNE, MA — An 18-year-old man from Cape Cod is dead after being struck by a train on Monday night.
At about 7:13 p.m., Bourne Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the area of Perry Avenue and Aptucxet Road for a reported crash involving a train striking a person, officials said.
Upon arrival, responders found an 18-year-old from Bourne that was deceased.

The incident is being investigated by Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Cape and Island District Attorney’s Office, along with MBTA Police.
No further information is being released at this time, officials said, and the 18-year-old has not been identified.
