Falmouth Teen Takes 3rd in Statewide Coaches' Cross-Country 5k: Full Results
Falmouth High School junior Lauren O'Neil took third place in the Division 2 girls 5k run with a time of 18:46.73 in the meet at the fairgrounds in East Falmouth Saturday.
More than 3,000 high school athletes — 170 boys and girls teams in all — competed Saturday in the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Bob McIntyre Twilight Cross Country Invitational at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in East Falmouth, reports the Cape Cod Times in "In the Zone: Carnival of Cape, Islands cross country."
