UPPER CAPE CAMERA CLUB PRESENTS NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY from NEAR and AFAR

Dr. Gonzalo Giribet will show many of his acclaimed nature photographs on Wednesday, January 24 at 7 pm at the Falmouth Art Center.

The Upper Cape Camera Club is pleased to announce that Dr. Gonzalo Giribet, Harvard University tenured Professor of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and Director of the Museum of Comparative Zoology, will present many of his impressive nature images at the UCCC meeting on Wednesday, January 24, at 7:00pm at the Falmouth Art Center. Dr. Giribet is well known for his Audubon-like portraits of birds and other animals.

Dr. Giribet is well-traveled with field work in 40 countries across all continents. He is an avid windsurfer, placing third in the Grand Masters category of the Windsurfing Raceboard World Competition, 2021. He regularly enjoys photography and windsurfing on Cape Cod and will show photos from the Cape and worldwide travels. He will demonstrate the cameras and equipment he uses in his close-up and distance work.

The presentation is free to attend and open to all. Guests are welcome to socialize with Club members beginning at 6:30pm and enjoy the presentation at 7:00 pm at The Falmouth Art Center at 137 Gifford Street.
