Artist Robert Wyatt will use lecture, live performance, and film footage to recount the rise of the famous piano manufacturer from humble beginnings, when German immigrant Heinrich Steinway and his five sons joined a jumbled market which already contained 300 piano manufacturers in New England alone. Over the next 10 years, the family's unswerving dedication to quality led Steinway and Sons to become the most successful company of its kind in the country. Not one but two Saturday farmers' markets cater to those who can't wait for spring. runs from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Mahoney's tropical greenhouse, offering winter vegetables, grass-fed pork, lamb, and beef, homemade honey, cheese, jam, and artisan bread, plus gourmet desserts, nuts, chocolate, granola, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. Meanwhile, the at the runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., offering its own locally grown produce and handmade food, plus cooking demonstrations, a thrift store, and used books. There's no admission fee for either event, but attend on an empty stomach at your own risk.

Highfield Hall presents the latest entry in its series, Sunday at 1 p.m. Gert Rausch, chef and owner of the Aqua Grille, will share his decades of experience in the culinary arts, and the multicultural cuisines that have shaped his unique cooking style. With influences ranging from German, Swiss, and Italian staples, to Thai food, to Caribbean fare, Rausch uses his years of traveling and cooking to produce his own global version of food fusion. hosts its monthly , Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Family-friendly music and events. Admission is $2 per person, or $10 for the whole family.
