West Falmouth Harbor Opens To Recreational Shellfishing
Vineyard Sound side shellfishing areas remain closed, but will open at a later date, officials said.

FALMOUTH, MA — The West Falmouth Harbor Family Area is now open to recreational shellfish permit holders only on Saturdays and Sundays only.
For current shellfish areas including recent openings, please visit the Open Shellfishing Areas page and the November 1, 2023 Open Areas List.

The South Coast (Vineyard Sound) side shellfishing areas will open at a date yet to be determined by the MA Division of Marine Fisheries. Please check back later this month for updates.
