West Falmouth Highway Closed After Branch Falls On Pole

FALMOUTH, MA — A section of West Falmouth Highway is closed due to a fallen branch on a utility pole, according to Falmouth police. Officers went to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. and found the utility pole leaning over the road.

Eversource is at the scene replacing the utility pole. The highway is closed between Old Dock Road and Westmoreland Drive, police said.

It is unknown when the road will reopen. Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes.
