Woman Dies In Head-On Crash With Tractor Trailer On Cape Cod
Bourne police said a woman driving a Nissan Sentra crossed over the road's centerline and collided head-on with a tractor trailer.
BOURNE, MA — A woman driving a sedan died in a head-on collision with a tractor trailer in Bourne Sunday, according to police.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m., on Sandwich Road near the Cape Cod Canal Midway Recreation Area. Police said a woman driving a Nissan Sentra crossed over the centerline and collided head-on with a tractor trailer.
The woman died in the crash, and the truck driver was not injured, police said. Police have not released the woman's identity.

The crash temporarily closed Sandwich Road in both directions. Traffic was detoured to Scenic Highway.
