Woods Hole Museum Seeks Donations

Antiques, Maritime Items Welcomed

Woods Hole Museum Seeking Donations for Biennial Auction

The Woods Hole Historical Museum is providing a donation opportunity. The museum's major fundraiser, the Biennial Auction is coming up and the auction committee is actively seeking donations. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 14, on the museum’s grounds at 579 Woods Hole Road in Woods Hole. Donations of antiques, maritime items, artwork, collectibles and boats are all welcome. The auction committee is asking homeowners to check their garages, attics, basements, closets, libraries and boat houses to clear out items they don’t need and would like to donate. Museum volunteers can arrange to pick up items at the homes of donors. The auction is a fundraiser for the non-profit museum and donations are tax deductible. Auction items will be accepted from now until the gavel falls in July. To make a donation or to arrange a drop off or pick up of items, call the museum at 508-548-7270 or email the auction committee at jayburnett29@gmail.com.
