Woods Hole Museum's Antiques & Nautical Auction & Tag Sale

Woods Hole Historical Museum's Biennial Auction on Saturday, July 16, with a tag sale the following day on Sunday, July 17.

One of the most anticipated events of the summer in Woods Hole is coming up. The Woods Hole Historical Museum is holding its Biennial Auction on Saturday, July 16, with a tag sale the following day on Sunday, July 17, from 10am to 2pm on the museum grounds at 579 Woods Hole Road.

Viewing of the treasures, found in local attics, garages and boatyards, begins at 9am; bidding starts at 10am. The auction lasts until about 2pm Saturday. The auctioneer is the well-known and always entertaining Phil Stanton.

The auction specializes in antiques, marine items, collectibles, artwork and boats, among other items.

The auction and tag sale are fundraisers for the non-profit museum and donations are tax deductible.

Free parking is at the WHOI Challenger lot next to the museum.
