Woods Hole Woman's Club to host Speakers
Two Organizations Dedicated to the Betterment of Community will Address Club

Ellen Barol, board president of the Falmouth Education Foundation, and Stacie Peugh, CEO of Cape Cod YMCA will speak at the next meeting of the Woods Hole Woman’s Club. Both organizations aim at “the betterment of the community,” an objective shared with the Woman’s Club.
Ellen Barol has been part of the Falmouth Education Foundation since 2008, first as a board member and then as its fourth board president. Dedicated educators, strong board and committees, and a community that values education have all worked together to support FEF's impressive growth. This year FEF awarded its one millionth dollar in teacher grants to the Falmouth Public Schools. Grants are for exciting and innovative programming that would not be possible within the schools' operating budgets.
Stacie Peugh is the CEO of Cape Cod YMCA in West Barnstable . She is leading the effort to build the Upper Cape YMCA. The Upper Cape Y is currently serving the community in several programs as a Y Without Walls. These include: preschool Learning Centers at Falmouth Hospital Campus and North Falmouth Congregational Church, before and after school programs at Falmouth schools, Camp Lyndon which offers summer feeding programs, and the wellness programs of LiveStrong and Diabetes Prevention.
