Worker Electrocuted At Cape Cod Construction Site
Fire and rescue personnel said the worker suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area trauma center for treatment.

FALMOUTH, MA — A worker at a Falmouth construction site was electrocuted in a workplace accident on Wednesday, officials said.
Fire and rescue officials responded to the job site at 2 p.m., and said the victim was conscious. However, officials confirmed that he suffered serious injuries after a steel beam made contact with overhead electrical wires.
"Due to the nature of the accident, Boston MedFlight was requested to respond," officials said. "The victim was evaluated and stabilized for transport to an awaiting MedFlight helicopter at the Falmouth Hospital Landing Zone. The victim was transported to an area Trauma Center with serious traumatic injuries."
