Copley Square Tree Lighting

Kick off your holiday season in Copley Square...

Celebrate the holiday season with the Friends of Copley Square and Mayor Martin J. Walsh on Monday, November 30th for the annual Copley Square Tree Lighting. Musical entertainment includes BSO’s Brass Ensemble, Berklee College of Music’s elite Acapella group, Pitch Slapped, Boston Children’s Chorus, and recent Berklee College of Music alum, Hyde Park resident, and contestant on NBC’s The Voice, Brittany Butler. Enjoy holiday treats and visits from Santa and Rudolph. NESN’s Dining Playbook’s Jenny Johnson will be hosting.

The Boston Public Library and Catered Affair host a story time and candy cane tea at the Fairmont Copley Plaza from 3:30-5:00pm (tea is free but you must make reservations – call 617-859-2282). More family fun begins at about 4:30pm with Jugglers, stilt walkers, and holiday music provided by Magic 106.7. Tree lighting will begin at 5:00pm.
