Danvers, MA Native Wins IISE Council of Fellows Undergraduate Scholarship

Jessica Lewis awarded the IISE Council of Fellows Undergraduate Scholarship from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering

Jessica Lewis, a 2018 candidate for BS/MS in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management at Northeastern University’s College of Engineering, has been awarded the IISE Council of Fellows Undergraduate Scholarship from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Awarded to undergraduate students pursuing a course of study in industrial engineering, the IISE Council of Fellows Undergraduate Scholarship recognizes students’ outstanding academic scholarship and leadership at the undergraduate level.

Jessica is completing her fourth year at Northeastern University and is from Danvers, MA. She is involved in a number of activities at the University, including the Galante Engineering Business Program, Civic Engagement Program, University Honors Program, Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, Husky Ambassadors Tour Guides, LEAD 360, and several intramural sports teams.

The Danvers local is passionate about helping people do their jobs better and easier. She has completed two full-time co-ops at Hasbro, Inc. and the Disneyland Resort, and is about to begin her third co-op at Protiviti. Jessica has also involved herself in various volunteering efforts, including her ongoing work with Boston Building Resources as an IISE Project Lead and Service Learning Volunteer.

After matriculating from Northeastern Jessica hopes to join a rotational development program to experience a variety of job functions within an organization while further improving her technical and leadership skills.
