Marathon Monday at Cask 'n Flagon
Fenway landmark to screen 120th race by Kenmore Square

Located steps from Kenmore Square along the race route, the Cask ‘n Flagon will host a viewing party for the 120th running of the Boston Marathon on April 18. The Cask will open its doors early at 8am to welcome in supporters of the Marathon and its runners while serving up a special brunch menu and themed cocktails. With over 60 high-definition TVs, spectators can retreat to the Cask ‘n Flagon throughout the day without missing any of the action.
Chef Donley Liburd will dish out a series of breakfast specials until 12pm, including: Fresh Fruit Salad with pineapple, cantaloupe, red grapes, honeydew melon, strawberries and blueberries tossed in Greek yogurt and topped with fresh mint ($10.99); Crème Brûlée French Toast grilled and served with a caramel apple compote ($11.99); Eggs Benedict with poached eggs, an English muffin, Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce served with home fries ($10.99); The All American with three scrambled eggs and a choice of bacon or sausage, served with home fries and toast ($11.99); Huevos Rancheros with scrambled eggs, taco beef, queso fresco, pico de gallo, corn and black bean salsa, served with a flour tortilla ($11.99); Western Omelet with ham, peppers, onions, eggs and cheddar cheese served with home fries and toast ($11.99); Ham & Cheese Omelet with honey ham, Swiss cheeses and eggs served with home fries and toast ($11.99); Fresh Garden Omelet with bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, broccoli, avocado and eggs served with home fries and toast topped with pico de gallo ($11.99); Delight Omelet with tomato, spinach, feta cheese and eggs served with a garden salad and toast ($11.99); and, Chicken & Waffles with buttermilk Belgian waffles and honey fried chicken ($12.99).
From the bar, there will be two specialty cocktails. The 120 – named for the 120th race – is a mix of 4 Roses, blue curaçao, orange juice and sour ($8.25). With April 18 also marking Patriots’ Day, the Cask will shake up The American Dream, a red, white and blue frozen cocktail layered with grenadine and Deep Eddy’s lemonade, topped with blue curaçao ($8.50; pictured).
