2017 Rodman Ride for Kids Recap

This is the 7th year Boston Partners in Education has participated in the MMP's Rodman Ride, raising money for the support of at-risk youth

Boston Partners in Education was proud to participate in the Rodman Ride for Kids for the seventh year. Organized by Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP), the Rodman Ride annually raises more than $14 million for nonprofit organizations that support at-risk youth. Team Boston Partners set a goal to raise $15,000 for students in the Boston Public Schools who need academic mentors, which will be matched in part by MMP.

On Saturday, September 23 our team of six cyclists, donning their Boston Partners bike jerseys, convened in Foxborough with our staff. It was a beautiful morning for the event; two cyclists rode 25 miles, while the other four rode 50 miles through the hilly course. We’re grateful for each of our riders who volunteered for this event and volunteer as academic mentors in the classroom. As of today, our team has raised $11,808! We’re just $3,200 short of our goal, but you still have until the end of October to make a gift

The Rodman Ride may be over, but the school year has just begun — click here make your gift to the Boston Partners Rodman Ride team before October 31, 2017. Your tax-deductible donation will help ensure that our youth in Boston are prepared for a year of success.
