Patriots Player Among 5 Injured In Serious Car Crash
The rookie and his wife were sent to the hospital following a crash near the intersection of Commercial and Fisher streets.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A New England Patriots rookie was among those hospitalized following a serious crash on Commercial Street Friday night. Defensive end/linebacker Harvey Langi was with a passenger - reportedly his wife - when they were rear-ended near the Fisher Street intersection, the Patriots said in a statement. The crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. Five people were sent to the hospital with injuries, according to Foxborough Fire. The Patrtios confirmed Saturday afternoon that Harvey Langi. In a statement, team spokesperson Stacey James said that the two were rear ended while stopped at a traffic light.
"Our thoughts are with Harvey, the Langi family and those who sustained injuries in last night’s accident," James said.

Langi is an undrafted free agent signed by the Patriots in May. The 25-year-old played his college ball at Brigham Young University. He has played in one game with New England.
Firefighters and emergency responders from Mansfield, Walpole and Sharon assisted at the scene.
