HOUSTON, TX — It only took one question to nearly bring Patriots quarterback Tom Brady to tears during Monday night's NFL Super Bowl Opening Night at Minute Maid Park.
During the annual media scrum, Brady was asked by a 7-year-old who his hero is. The response brought Brady to near-tears and led to him cutting his answer short.

"You just have different things that your family goes through throughout the course of your life. It has been a challenging year for my family for some personal reasons. It will be nice to have everyone here watching us this weekend. My mom and dad, they have been so supportive my entire life and it is nice to be here to show them and try to make them proud," Brady said.
On a lighter note, Rich Shertenlieb of "Toucher & Rich" fame got a chance to ask the quarterback about the time he "called" the show, referencing a September segment where a caller who said Brady is the best of all time sounded a lot like the man at the podium. The exchange ended with Brady asking if Shertenlieb was on drugs.
