$8,000 Charity Money Stolen From Foxborough VFW
The VFW post was planning on donating the money to St. Jude's, Children's Hospital, Toys for Tots, the town, and Foxborough's food pantry.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — Burglars ransacked the local VFW post, smashing windows and stealing thousands of dollars raised for charity.
VFW representatives told police cash registers, the lottery machine, and a jukebox were all torn apart Saturday morning. Volunteers, have made repairs, but $8,000 was stolen.
Post Commander Warren Wright told WBZ-TV they were planning to donate the money to St. Jude’s, Children’s Hospital, Toys for Tots, the town, and Foxborough's food pantry.

Police said they are tracking down leads. In the meantime, the VFW post plans to up its security measures.
