Aaron Hernandez Appeals Murder Conviction

The appeal was filed on his behalf by his attorneys.

An appeal for Aaron Hernandez’s guilty conviction in the trial of Odin Lloyd has been filed by his lawyers.

Filed this week, the appeal says that no reasonable jury could have found the former Patriots star guilty and cites insufficient evidence for a conviction according to the Boston Herald.

In April, Hernandez was convicted the June 2013 murder of Lloyd. He is currently serving life in prison at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley.
