FOXBOROUGH, MA — Visitors to Patriot Place are now able to purchase takeout food and alcoholic beverages to be enjoyed on property in two Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas (DORA).
This new service will make Patriot Place the first retail and entertainment center to feature DORA zones.
Guests are now allowed to buy takeout food and alcohol from shops around Patriot Place that they can enjoy outside on opposite ends of the Patriot Place North Marketplace, one side extending from outside Bar Louie and Skipjack's to the Grand Staircase, and the other is fronted by the Renaissance Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn.
DORA zones will operate daily from 12:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
"This new offering is the best of both worlds as it will allow us to continue to serve our guests and enhance their experience while supporting our restaurants and other licensed venues," said Brian Earley, Vice President and General Manager of Patriot Place. "With the full support of local and public safety officials, these new DORA zones will be a safe, family-friendly option for our guests to enjoy."
Takeout beverages will need to be in a sealed container, (either a can, bottle, or cup with a cover) and purchased with a food item per guidelines from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
These new DORA zones are permitted under current Massachusetts guidelines that were recently extended through May 1, 2022.
