The Foxboro Jaycees are honored and excited to announce their new board of directors for 2026-27! Shout out to these amazing volunteers!
Caiitlin Pignone from Barrows Insurance Agency will take the helm as the Jaycees’ President for the upcoming year. Caitlin, who lives in Foxboro with husband Anthony and four children, has been an active with the Jaycees for several years, graciously sponsoring, organizing, and hosting the Santa pictures for Foxboro’s Light Up the Town, leading the Jaycees team in the Founder’s Day Parade, and supporting a slew of other traditional Jaycees projects.
Several Foxboro board members bring their skills and interests to make community projects successful: known for running Candidates' Night and serving on the Board of Health, Sophia Manos served as president over the past two years and will continue as Chairman of the Board; Amy LaBrache, insurance agent at Barrows Insurance Agency and a member of the town's Select Board, brings enthusiasm for volunteerism to her role to serving as Membership VP; graphic design and marketing guru Gabriella Grondalski will oversee Individual Development and continue to apply her skills to the Jaycees communication outlets; Marc Rivard, a former dj and music guru, will oversee all Community Development projects, update social media, and continue to chair the amazing Summer Concerts on the Common; Deena Cummings, who has served in every board role - currently guiding Ways and Means - brings strong leadership skills garnered from her military experience to organize the successful vendor fairs for our local small businesses; Mansfield resident Lisa Jolicoeur will remain as Treasurer and chairs the Scholarship Program; and Franklin resident Pam Warren will continue her role as Secretary, producing an award-winning monthly Jaycees newsletter, and apply her incredible organizational skills to chair Founder's Day concession projects.
What do the Jaycees do? The Jaycees proudly support the community through volunteerism and organizing traditional projects, especially on the beautiful Foxboro Common where the Jaycees hold their Easter Egg Hunt, set up their nativity set, and hold their Summer concerts in the very bandstand donated by the Jaycees in 1971. The Jaycees also donated and have maintained the recently refurbished Foxboro sign that is proudly featured whenever our town is mentioned in the news or on social media. The Jaycees also partner with important groups such as Foxboro Cable Access to bring events to a broader audience, such as streaming the concerts and candidates’ night.
What’s next for the Jaycees? May 3rd brought the Jaycees’ Spring Vendor Fair of the year, a lively event that allows local and small businesses to showcase their wares; the Jaycees host this event each spring and fall. On Thursday, June 11th, the Summer Concert series kicks off at 7 pm with the Foxboro High School Jazz Ensemble during which the Jaycees will present their scholarships to two high school graduates. The Concert series has an amazing line up; Thursday nights on the Common bring families to hear great music and enjoy some food or snacks from the local venues surrounding the Common. And remember to stop by the Jaycees concession tent at Founder’s Day on June 6th for a burger!
