FOXBOROUGH, MA — Patriots fans returning to Foxborough this season will find several new and recently added places to eat, drink, and spend time before and after games at Gillette Stadium.

Patriot Place has continued to add restaurants, bars and entertainment destinations, with Phoenix Theatres and Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille among the newest additions to the complex. They join The Harp, the Foxborough location of the longtime Boston sports bar that opened at Patriot Place in 2023.

The three businesses range from a renovated movie theater to a Massachusetts-focused restaurant and sports bar, giving visitors additional options as the New England Patriots prepare for the upcoming season.

Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille

Mass Appeal Draught House & Grille opened at 250 Patriot Place in June, replacing the former Wormtown Brewery taproom with a full-service restaurant.

Hendler Family Brewing Company spent five months renovating the 3,325-square-foot space. The project included an expanded kitchen, redesigned indoor and outdoor bar and a new 16-tap tower.

The restaurant can accommodate 144 guests, including 108 indoors and another 36 on an outdoor patio. The patio includes a television and grill, while a separate "To Go Beer" station is available during games and other events at Gillette Stadium.

Beer selections rotate among Jack's Abby Craft Lagers, Night Shift Brewing, Wormtown Brewery, and Masshole, all of which are part of Hendler Family Brewing Company's portfolio.

"We're excited to create a space that showcases the incredible craft beer being brewed right here in Massachusetts while welcoming visitors from near and far to experience New England hospitality," Hendler Family Brewing Company co-founder and CEO Sam Hendler said.

The food menu focuses largely on New England and American fare. Options include burgers, sandwiches and seafood-inspired dishes, including a burger based on the North Shore "Three-Way" and a variation on stuffed quahogs.

Mass Appeal also includes a retail area for Hendler Family Brewing Company brands and accommodates private events and larger groups.

"I live in Pennsylvania; we come every year for a Patriots game," one person commented on a social media post. "Can't wait to visit here and see what you have to offer."

Brothers Jack, Eric, and Sam Hendler founded Framingham-based Hendler Family Brewing Company in 2024. The company includes Jack's Abby, Night Shift, Wormtown, and Masshole and describes itself as the largest craft beer producer in Massachusetts.

Mass Appeal opens at 11 a.m. on game days.

The Harp

The Harp opened its second location at Patriot Place in 2023 after spending three decades operating across from TD Garden in Boston.

The original Harp opened on Causeway Street in 1993 and became a gathering place around Celtics and Bruins games and other events at TD Garden. Briar Group later expanded the concept to the former CBS Sporting Club space at Patriot Place.

The Foxborough restaurant includes a dining room, indoor bar, and televisions throughout the space. A seasonal patio overlooks Gillette Stadium and includes a second bar, while private and semi-private areas can accommodate groups and events.

The menu consists largely of American bar food, including burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, and appetizers, along with beer and cocktails.

The Harp has also hosted events tied to the football season, including NFL Draft parties and fantasy football draft gatherings.

On Sundays when the Patriots play a 1 p.m. home game, The Harp opens at 10 a.m. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis during Gillette Stadium event days.

The restaurant also uses its patio during concerts and other events at the stadium. Some concerts have included "No Ticket No Problem" reservations, allowing customers without tickets to reserve patio tables and listen to the performance from outside Gillette Stadium.

DJs and live music are also scheduled at the restaurant on select dates outside of stadium events.

The Harp is operated by Briar Group, which also operates Six String Grill & Stage at Patriot Place, along with several restaurants and bars in the Boston area.

Phoenix Theatres

Phoenix Theatres officially opened its flagship Patriot Place location on July 1 following a renovation of the movie theater complex.

The Michigan-based company equipped each auditorium with heated reclining loveseat-style seats and Christie 4K digital projection. Four ENCORE auditoriums feature 60-foot-wide screens, Dolby ATMOS sound and specialized acoustic treatments.

The theater has also eliminated commercial advertising before movies. Trailers are still shown before the feature presentation, but traditional pre-show advertisements have been removed.

"That means no commercials. No long blocks of advertising before your film begins. Just movie trailers and your feature presentation," Jordan Hohman, senior vice president of project development for Phoenix Theatres, said.

Other changes include a vintage-inspired lobby entrance with exposed marquee bulbs and animated lighting.

Children 11 and younger and seniors 65 and older can purchase $7 tickets throughout the day. General admission matinees before 5 p.m. cost $8, while evening tickets cost $10.

"Been dying to check this theatre out," one person commented on a social media post about the theatre.

The theater provides another activity at Patriot Place outside of shopping, dining, and events at Gillette Stadium. Phoenix Theatres opened its first Detroit-area theater in 2000 and currently operates 10 locations across the United States.
