FOXBOROUGH, MA — Foxborough mountain biking enthusiasts have a new opportunity to hit the trails and put their skills to the test.
On Sunday, Nov. 1, Foxboro Racing will host an information session from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Foxboro Community Center, located at 76 Main St.
Attendees will have the chance to meet the team, learn more about what Foxboro Racing has to offer and get free bike checks. Those interested in joining the action can also walk the course alongside coaches to get a feel for what lies ahead.
The opportunity isn't just for young riders. Parents are also welcome to participate, but there are a few requirements before hitting the trails.
Participants must have a working mountain bike with wheels measuring at least 20 inches, along with a helmet. Kickstands must also be removed before riding.
Practices are scheduled to begin in March, with races kicking off in late May.
