Another School Committee Candidate Enters Foxborough Election
There are now 15 candidates seeking 13 open positions in the Foxborough town election on May 6.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — There are only a few days left before the March 18 deadline for town election candidates to pass in their nomination papers with the required 50 signatures. So far, 15 candidates have taken out papers, signaling they will run for office in the May 6 election.
The newest candidate to take out nomination papers is Robert Canfield III, who is running for school committee. Canfield will seek one of the two open positions on the committee, running against incumbent Christopher Connolly and Brent Ruter.
Of the 15 candidates running for office, eight so far have returned their nomination papers with required signatures from 50 registered voters in Foxborough.

Voters in 2019 will have plenty of decisions to make, as 13 positions are up for a vote on the May ballot. The following positions will be on the ballot. All carry a term of three years, with the exception of the Housing Authority opening, which last five years:
