Attleboro YMCA Lyonfish Synchronettes Synchronized Swimming Team Advance to the East Zone Championships!

May 20, 2017, The Attleboro YMCA Lyonfish Synchronettes competed at the East Zone Region D Intermediate and Age Group Championships. At the regional meet, the top three teams in each category can advance to the East Zone Synchronized Swimming Championships.

Saturday morning the Lyonfish competed in figures, which are an event on their own, but are also added onto the routine scores.

In the afternoon, the Lyonfish swam a total of 11 routines, 6 of which placed in the top 3 and qualified for the East Zone Championships!

  • Ada Alden and Eily Buchanan of Norton, MA placed 3rd in 11-12 intermediate duets
