Ayla Brown To Perform at Miss Foxboro Scholarship Fundraiser

Wrentham's Ayla Brown, an American Idol finalist and country singer, will be performing at Miss Foxboro Scholarship Fundraiser in Foxboro, Friday, March 30, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Church of Emmanuel, 106 Central St., Foxboro. Tickets are $10 each.

Young women between the ages of 17 and 24 are invited to compete in the Miss Foxboro Scholarship and should visit www.missfoxboro.com to learn how to enter.

This year’s first Miss Foxboro Scholarship program provides young women in the greater Foxboro area the opportunity to share their passion for community service, academicexcellence and artistic talent. It is a local preliminary for the Miss America Organization, the world’s largest provider of scholarship assistance for young women, and its winner will go on to compete in the Miss Massachusetts pageant.

Brown is currently the voice of the Philadelphia 76ers In addition to performing, Brown will also speak to the crowd about what inspires her dedication to her singing career and the importance of setting goals for young women.
